Course Improvements

Salt Creek Golf Links continues to evolve and improve through ongoing investments focused on enhancing the overall golfer experience, clubhouse atmosphere, course playability, comfort, and accessibility. From clubhouse renovations and expanded outdoor gathering spaces to on-course improvements and golfer amenities, our team is always exploring thoughtful ways to make every visit more enjoyable for members and guests alike.

  • 2024: New sand bunker to hole #8 to enhance course playability and design.
  • 2023: Expanded the clubhouse patio area to provide additional outdoor seating and gathering space.
  • Construction of a new locker building featuring seasonal rental lockers for members and guests.
  • 2021: Removal of the large maple tree located in the centre of the fairway due to deterioration and safety concerns associated with the aging tree.
  • 2019: Added an exterior washroom facility conveniently located near the intersection of holes #6 and #13 to improve accessibility and golfer convenience during play.
  • 2013: Completed a major transformation of the clubhouse, significantly modernizing both the exterior and interior spaces. Exterior improvements included new siding, windows, relocation of the main entrance with the addition of a welcoming porch, a new stone walkway, and conversion of the former front garage into expanded clubhouse space. Interior upgrades included expanded dining and seating capacity for groups of up to 76 guests, new tables and chairs, fully redesigned accessible washroom facilities, and installation of a new energy-efficient refrigeration system for food and beverage service.
